200HR Yoga Teacher Training

Soul Yoga is home to Eva Paxton’s Yoga Teacher Training! 

We will be offering a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance approved teacher training that will help you deepen your yoga practice and give you the skills to learn how to share your passion with others using your own unique voice!

Dates/Times:
The times are 7:30-9:00PM on Fridays and 8:30AM-6PM on Saturday & Sunday (times are subject to change). Participants will be required to attend 3 classes/week for the duration of the training. Soul Yoga will provide you with links to join classes via virtual SoulStream OR you can purchase an unlimited month yoga pass for teacher trainers at $40/month.

Topics Explored:

• The dialogue and hands-on training to assist, teach and provide modifications for 50 asanas

• Seven pranayama techniques

• Practicing and teaching meditation

• Anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system including information on applying anatomical knowledge in the practice and teaching of yoga

• Basic physiology of the major systems of the body and the benefits of yoga for each

• Information on the history of yoga, various styles of yoga and principles of sequencing

• Readings on the application of yogic teachings as well as reading and discussion of classic texts such as Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita

• Information on energetics including the three major Nadis, the Chakras, Bandhas, and Mudras

• Mantra Meditation

• Practical considerations such as Safety, Ethics, and the Business of Yoga

• Using touch and voice as a teaching tool

• Embracing your personal yoga and teaching from the center

Cost:
Early-Bird (paid in full before 9/1/2023): $2,700*

Regular Tuition (paid between 9/2-10/20/23): $2,900*

Payment Plan (paid in 5 monthly installments of $600 to paid via PayPal): $3,000*
