Hello, Jen!
Jennifer Morris, is a mother, yogi, teacher and group fitness instructor. She currently teaches physical education at North Salisbury School.
A firm believer that our bodies are born to move, Jennifer loves to swim, bike, camp, paddleboard and hike with her friends and family! She especially likes to reconnect with nature camping at Assateague State Park enjoying the beach.
Although Jennifer’s practice began in the 90’s, it was mostly a physical practice until 2014 when running injuries led her to a hot yoga class at Soul Yoga Studio. It was at Soul where she found the magic in the stillness that nourished her soul and ability to be mindful, stay present and feel gratitude every day. Yoga allows Jennifer to give her body exactly what it needs on any given day as well growing spiritually impacting all areas of her life!
This has shaped the way Jennifer structures her classes for her students. Jennifer’s classes are accessible to all levels and supportive to the diverse needs of her students. She is known for holding a safe non-judgmental space for mindful movement and a playfulness to explore challenging postures.
Jennifer is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, Yoga Fit Kids certified, Flow Motion FITT Yoga instructor and has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Soul Yoga Studio under the guidance of Eva Whipple. Jennifer is forever grateful to all her instructors that have shared their gift.
Yoga helps Jennifer find balance on and off the mat. If you can breathe, you can do yoga is Jennifer’s motto to anyone who thinks they can’t and she reminds them “Yoga is a practice not perfect!”
